Procedure to schedule a Fire Safety or Emergency Action Director onsite exam
There is a new procedure to apply for the Fire Safety Director and Emergency Action onsite exams. They no longer accept emails; it now needs to be done via the internet on 311. You can follow the steps below to see the entire procedure or you can go directly to step 6.
Step 1.Go to NYC.gov
Step 2. Click on “311”
Step 3. Go to “Get Licenses, Permits & Certificates” on the left sidebar
Step 4. Go to “FDNY Permit or Inspection” – page 4 of “Get Licenses, Permits & Certificates”
Step 5. Click on “Fire Safety Director or Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Director On-Site Test”
Step 6. Choose either:
Fire Safety Director Or EAP Inspection
Step 7. Enter information:
