Active Shooter Medical Emergency
A new amendment to Title 3 of the Rules of the City of New York, Section 113, now requires all Fire Safety Director (F-58) and Emergency Action Plan Director (F-59) certificate of fitness holders to take the new Active Shooter and Medical Emergency Preparedness course. The New York City Fire Department requires all FSDs and EAPDs to take this course before October 2017. After successful completion of the course attendees will be issued the new FDNY Fire Life Safety Director certificate of fitness (F-89).
Fire Safety Directors is an FDNY accredited school with a convenient midtown office location. Our instructors have unique experience not offered by any other schools, particularly with respect to Active Shooter response training. GSG instructors are former US Federal Agents and senior officers from the FDNY and NYPD and have provided Active Shooter training to thousands of individuals in the private sector in New York City and across the United States since 2001.
