Frank Papalia
Frank Papalia is the Director of Fire and Life Safety Services for Global Security Group. A retired New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Lieutenant, he has over 20 years of experience with the FDNY and 30 years volunteering. He holds both a Bachelors degree in Fire and Emergency Service (summa cum laude) and a Master of Public Administration in Emergency Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. A certified Fire Service Instructor, Frank has been trained in terrorism and arson investigation as well as the National Incident Management System.
He is the lead instructor for the following GSG classes:
- Fire Safety Director
- Emergency Action Plan Director
- Construction Site Fire Safety Manager
- Fire Safety Coordinator; and
- Building Operations, Maintenance and Recordkeeping.
Frank writes Fire Safety Plans, Fire Protection Plans and Residential Fire Safety Guides in accordance with NYC Local Law and the Fire Code.
Kevin Schamberger
Kevin Schamberger is the Director of Fire and Life Safety Operations for Global Security Group. A retired New York City Fire Department (FDNY) lieutenant, he had over 29 years of experience with the FDNY.
Kevin is responsible for writing IFA Fire Safety Plans, Comprehensive Combined Fire Safety/Emergency Action Plans and Residential Fire Safety Guides in accordance with NYC Local Law and the Fire Code. He has certifications in Firefighters Professional Development Program, Emergency Responses to Terrorism, NYS Principles of Fire Investigation, Hazardous Material Technician II, NYS Fire Service Instructor, Emergency Management Institute FEMA Incident Command System 100,200,700,800, Blood Bourne Pathogens, and is an FDNY Certified instructor for all courses offered. Kevin heads a staff of Experienced Active and Retired Fire Officers in the preparation and conduction of Fire Safety and Emergency Action Drills and Trainings.
